PFAS Eating Bacteria?
PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” are toxic compounds found in nonstick pans, waterproof fabrics, and food packaging. They resist breakdown and build up in the body. But scientists in Italy just discovered bacteria in the wild that can *eat* PFAS—offering new hope for cleanup and recovery.
